What's the difference between Economy and Business?
Economy lets you talk to your AI agent live in the browser — perfect for testing scripts, demos, and internal QA. Business adds outbound dialing to real phone numbers via Vapi telephony.
Do I need a phone number?
Only for the Business plan. Economy uses WebRTC and your computer's microphone — no phone number required.
How is usage billed?
Economy is free for browser calls during beta. Business is $29 / month plus pass-through carrier and AI usage costs.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings. Your scripts and contacts are preserved.
Is the AI clearly disclosed?
Yes. Every Dialo AI call opens with an AI disclosure. We do not support undisclosed AI calling — see our AI Disclosure page.
